| 5.1 | The Criminal Code and Police Code | |
| The Criminal Code of the Arabian Union shall be responsible for administering the criminal standards, conditions of and operations of the all criminal law, whereas the Police Code shall be responsible for the administering the code of conduct, functions and operations of law enforcement officials. | ||
| The Police Code depends in part upon the Criminal Code in the fair operation of general criminal standards and penalties as a way of reducing the incidence and risk of anti-social, criminal and adversarial behaviour. | ||
| Similarly, the Criminal Code in part depends upon the just operation of the Police Code in administering the code of conduct, functions and operations of law enforcement officials | ||
