| Criminal procedure is brought on request of an authorised prosecutor. |

| The authorised prosecutor is the public prosecutor for crimes prosecuted ex officio or on the request of a damaged man or woman and the private prosecutor is the authorised prosecutor for crimes prosecuted on private charges. |
||
| The public prosecutor is obliged to initiate a criminal investigation if there are evidence that a crime is committed which is initiated. |
